Drag racing challenge roars Dundee into action

Petrol-heads were in their element on Sunday when Endumeni Motorsport Club hosted their Battlefields June Drag Racing Event.
The Dundee airfield was full of roaring engines, excited motor chatter and burning rubber as racers from here and everywhere flocked to the event in a bid to test their speed and skill over the quarter-mile track.
Shaiel Chunder of Endumeni Motorsport Club said he was thrilled with the turnout at the event. “We are especially pleased to have four super-cars here. Together, these cars – from Johannesburg – are valued at over R10 million, so that is quite a catch for Dundee.”
Riaan van der Berg’s Nissan super-car was also a head-turner, as were the bikes that also had many supporters.
