Fathers honoured in style
Fathers who were 70 years and older, each received a warm winter blanket sponsored by Nofta member, Amoy Naidoo.
The Newcastle Organisation For the Aged (Nofta) hosted its Father’s Day Function on June 22 at its service centre in Nightingale Street.
The fathers dressed to the nines and the function was attended by the members of the organisation.
Fathers who were 70 years and older, each received a warm winter blanket sponsored by Nofta member, Amoy Naidoo.
A live band known as Jai Hana Sangeet provided the entertainment for the evening.
The event concluded with a hearty meal in honour of fathers, which was enjoyed by all present.
