A man was killed after a shooting in the Macksons parking area today (July 4) in Phillip Street.

A small crowd has gathered around the man’s body, which is lying at the entrance to a shop.

On scene earlier was an Estcourt detective, writing down information from the police officers who had secured the scene and covered up the body.

An unconfirmed report is that the alleged shooter has handed himself over to police.
