The audience was made up of well-wishers, parents, teachers and guest speakers. The Foundation Phase learners had loads of fun dressing up in the ‘uniforms’ of their future careers.

Each learner also showcased some of the toy versions of the tools they will get to use in their various professions one day. The event gave learners a foundation for employment opportunities.

This was a chance to observe and prepare for the future, and create a plan of success once completing their school careers.

The Intermediate Phase learners also delivered career speeches, with most leaving the attendees in tears as the children thanked their supportive parents and other role players.

One learner said she wants to help the sick after one of her grandparents was hospitalised earlier this year.
