Unyaka Wakho Youth Foundation, Advocates For Change members get ready to start the food parcel distribution.

Mrs Gamede explains: “Caroline called me and she was very worried about the community during this time. I told her that the community would appreciate food parcels. She then introduced me to Lynn Sclanders and Debbie Arde, as her partners, and promised that they would try something.”

The items for the food parcels are sorted before distribution.

Within a matter of days, the food parcels were ready and Mrs Gamede started to delegate people from different areas to identify families that require sustenance.

The areas covered included Esigodlweni, Fordeville, Papkuilsfontein, Cornfields and Frere.
