Two sanitizer tanks were stolen from Mnambithi Primary School in Steadville on Tuesday evening (June 2).
The Department of Education delivered five sanitizer tanks to Mnambithi Primary on Monday (June 1) to assist in the fight against Covid-19. This after Minister of Basic Education Angie Motshekga announced that schools would re-open on June 8, with Grade 7 and 12 pupils the only ones allowed back.

Provincial police spokesperson Captain Nqobile Gwala confirmed that a docket has been opened and that Ladysmith police are investigating a case of theft.
