DUNDEE: Eloquently making it through to the finals

Nompilo made it through to the semi-finals and came out tops

Dundee High is proud to announce that Nompilo Mahaye took part in the South African Literacy Association (SALA) Public Speaking Competition.

She did so during lockdown and had to work really hard, but rose to the occasion and did extremely well in her video participation due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Nompilo made it through to the semi-finals and came out tops. She did so in style, obtaining an A+ symbol to prove that a little adversity is merely an extra challenge.

Nompilo will now participate in the national finals, which will take place later this year. She speaks with much enthusiasm and confidently expresses herself quite eloquently. Her dedication and hard work contributed to landing a spot in the finals.
