Ladysmith KZN: “Enough is enough, we want the Speaker removed”

Bergville residents are accusing the Okhahlamba Local Municipality Speaker of misconduct

Today (October 12), Bergville residents took to the streets to voice their grievances, as they made a call for Okhahlamba Local Municipality Speaker, Cllr Sthembiso Zulu, to be removed with immediate effect.

The protesters stood united as they said “enough is enough”. They want the Council Speaker to be removed from his position, as they accuse him of misconduct.

Okhahlamba residents have also accused the Speaker of nepotism.

“If we apply for jobs in this municipality, we have to take down our panties,” said an angry protester.
