Ladysmith KZN: Fun outdoor Zumba event a huge success

Dancing and exercise for a cause

Ladysmith turned pink and came alive yesterday afternoon (Saturday, October 24) when Zumba instructor Yesho Singh held a first-of-its-kind ‘outdoor Zumba class’ to raise funds for Cansa.

Sweat and tears intermingled with laughter and fun; a strange combination indeed! ‘Carried off with aplomb’ is the only way to describe the event, as dancers sweated in the mid-afternoon heat, each one doing their bit for the Cancer Association of South Africa (Cansa).

Yesho Singh made the event fun and exciting, and cancer survivor Renika Rampersad made one realise how lucky we all are…

A fantastic event for sure, with R6000 raised for Cansa!
