DUNDEE KZN: Huge queue forms outside Moth Hall

SAPS and Traffic Police are patrolling outside the Hall

Huge queues formed outside the Moth Hall on King Edward Street early this morning.

They were waiting for the Hall to open to receive an update, and hopefully their money, related to the long-outstanding Farm Doctor land claim issue.

The large crowd was subsequently moved to the McKenzie Street Hall. Unconfirmed reports said this was to ease traffic congestion.

The land, on the outskirts of Dundee town, has been a source of much irritation for those who have in applications to claim compensation after they or their forefathers were moved off the land

After years of waiting, those who had been outside the hall since very early, said they are hopeful that they would finally get their promised compensation.

The Moth Hall is a bustle of activity today.
