Before you hit the open road with your family as you go on holiday this festive season, remember that you must always do a vehicle checklist.

To start off, check all the fluid levels, ie the oil, water and coolant.

Check that all your lights are working correctly, and also the wipers. Check that tyres are in a good condition, and check the bolts that they are tight.

It is always good to check your brake pads and that there are no leaks under your vehicle.

Check the drive belt and that the spare wheel is filled with air.
