Ladysmith KZN: 1 dead, several injured as bus and truck collide at Van Reenen

A crash in the early hours of this morning (December 22) at Van Reenen, near the Caltex garage on the Free State side, sadly claimed one person’s life.

A truck and a bus collided in the northbound lane, resulting in one fatality and several other people being injured. Emergency personnel responded and treated the injured at the scene.

Officials and breakdown services worked tirelessly through the night to have all the lanes open for traffic again.
