After days of abundant rainfall, the Bushmans River near Zwelisha has burst its banks.
This morning (December 31) residents woke to find that the main road in Zwelisha, which gives access to Estcourt, was under water and impassable.
The strong flow of water has made it impossible for vehicles or pedestrians to pass.
A resident from the area said that this road was their only means of entering and exiting the area, while the D69 bridge is currently under construction.
