ESTCOURT KZN: Search for teen swept away in river continues
"The police are not sure whether he is still alive or not"
It’s been close to two weeks since 15-year-old Siyavuya Hadebe disappeared while crossing the Injisuthi River near Loskop.
Siyavuya, from Tatane, was last seen on January 15 at about 1.15pm when it is reported that he was seen trying to cross the swollen river while on his way to Kwa-vala location.
“Police were notified and they have been searching for him but he is still missing. The police are not sure whether he is still alive or not,” said police spokesperson Captain Bongani Nyathi.
The police are now calling on the public to assist in their search for Siyavuya.
