NEWCASTLE KZN: Traffic officer seriously injured in collision
The patient was stabilised on scene before being transported to hospital.
A local traffic official was seriously injured after he was knocked off his motorcycle late yesterday afternoon (May 12).
According to an official source at the scene, the collision occurred on Sutherland Street, near the corner of Kirkland Street.
“The patient sustained serious injuries and needed to be stabilised at the scene before being taken to Mediclinic Newcastle,” confirmed the source.
While the exact cause of the collision is still unclear at this stage, it will remain subject to police investigation.
