NEWCASTLE KZN: Electrical fault cuts power to Fairleigh and Siyahlala-la
It is estimated that power will only be restored in four hours' time.
Power outages in Siyahlala-la and Fairleigh are the result of a faulty busbar at Mediclinic Newcastle.
In a statement from the Newcastle Municipality’s Communications Unit earlier today, it was stated that technical teams are currently on site to repair the fault. However, it is estimated power will only be restored in four hours’ time.
Residents are urged to exercise patience while teams ‘swiftly respond to the crisis’. The municipality has also apologised for the inconvenience.
