VRYHEID KZN: New house and borehole as MEC visits Esilweni area
The people of the area could not contain their jubilation when the MEC supplied them with a borehole to alleviate the water shortage in the area

An official handover was done in the Esilweni area last week… The handover was the Majiyane family’s house that was built from scratch with the help of the Salvation Army, AbaQulusi Municipality, Correctional Services (detainees), the Department of Transport and local business people.
Gogo Majiyane was said to be living with 16 family members in a house that was not in a good condition at all. One of the members of the Salvation Army commented that, “Praise the Lord; granny’s house is completed. The tiles are fitted, and the outside and inside of the house is painted.” Majiyane’s house is now completely finished and has been furnished as well.
That day, MEC for Human Settlements Jomo Sibiya conducted an opening of a borehole from the Salvation Army in the same place (Esilweni Village). The people of the area could not contain their jubilation when the MEC supplied them with a borehole to alleviate the water shortage in the area, They sang their praises to the provincial government for ensuring that their service delivery needs are met.
