Two arrested with unlicensed firearms and ammo
The recovered firearms will be subjected to ballistic testing
A joint Intelligence-driven operation resulted in two arrests and the recovery of three unlicensed firearms.
The operation, consisting of SAPS and SANDF members, was held in the Obonjaneni and KwaMagaba areas on December 13.
A 34-year-old suspect was arrested after being found in possession of two firearms: a 9mm pistol with eight rounds of ammunition and a shotgun with 25 rounds of ammunition.
A 47-year-old suspect was also arrested for being in possession of an unlicensed revolver.

The two have appeared in front of a magistrate in Bergville, and the recovered firearms will be subjected to ballistic testing to see if they have been involved in any crimes in the country.
