The unlicensed firearm and ammunition recovered.

A 50-year-old has been arrested for possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition.

The suspect was arrested in Loskop (Amangwe) after he was found in possession of an unlicensed shotgun and four rounds of ammunition during a multi-disciplinary operation.

Public Order Policing Unit officers, Amangwe Visible Policing Unit officers and Uthukela Crime Intelligence operatives were responsible for the arrest and recovery.
