His passing marks the end of an era, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of his family, friends, and the angling community.

Kidd’s association with Breakwaters AC began in 1991, a relationship that spanned over 30 years until his health prevented further participation.

  • Public Relations Officer for 3 seasons

His tireless commitment and leadership were instrumental in the club’s success and growth.

An accomplished angler, Kidd was celebrated for his skill, perseverance, and ability to inspire those around him.

Among his many achievements, earning the prestigious ‘Angler of the Day’ award stood out as a testament to his dedication and love for the sport.

Beyond his prowess as an angler, Kidd excelled as a sports administrator.

His precision in financial management and eloquence in communication set a benchmark for excellence.

As a founding member of the APL in 2014, Kidd was a driving force behind the league’s mission to elevate the sport and unite the community.

The Angling Professional League and Breakwaters AC extend their deepest gratitude to everyone who joined in honouring Kidd’s life, whether through attendance at his cremation service, heartfelt tributes, or words of comfort to his loved ones.

“Rest in peace, Kidd Rampersadh (Joe). Your dedication and passion will continue to inspire the angling community for generations to come.”
