Dundee High to mark 140th anniversary on Saturday

Former scholars will be there to support the day and catch up with old friends as the school does battle against old rivals, Ladysmith High.

April 13 – Dundee High to mark 140th anniversary:
It will be a day of nostalgia and sport against Ladysmith, plus lots of fun, when Dundee High School marks its 140th anniversary this coming Saturday.

Last week, Dundee High School’s (DHS) prefects were allowed to look back at the times when things were simple.
They had loads of fun at Dundee Pre-Primary with the adorable, free-spirited, zestful little munchkins. They were reminded of the tranquillity and colour that their lives once held.
The colourful classrooms felt like a world away from the austere, grey walls of their own high school filled with obligations and test dates. Thanks to Mr Bester and Mrs Visser for the wonderful opportunity. Thanks also to Dundee Pre-Primary for allowing the prefects to have fun with the learners and staff, and for the appetising food.(Report by: Asanda Shelembe)
