Man’s body found in Dundee suburb

It is not clear what was the motive behind the murder.

SAPS are investigating a charge of murder after the body of a man was found this morning in a property on Begonia Street, Dundee.

Residents in the area told the Courier the homeowner had left his house early to go to work when he saw the body.

The man had been stabbed.

The police and forensic mortuary personnel were dispatched to the scene.

Those in the area who spoke to the Courier said earlier in the week they had seen a man in the area who appeared to be a vagrant and/or a drug user.

At one stage he attempted to follow a woman into her house but she had the presence of mind to lock her doors and he left.

Updates will be given once these are received.
