Dannhauser family devastated after raging fire guts home

The family is in urgent need of assistance.

A Dannhauser family of six has been left homeless after a fire destroyed their house.
It is understood that a gas cylinder exploded in their Park Street home last Monday evening and the flames spread rapidly.
The three adults and three children escaped the inferno but they lost all their possessions.

Farzanah Dookie of the Helping Hands organisation said the family desperately needs food parcels, clothing, furniture and shelter.
Anyone wishing to assist can call Farzanah on 060 762 8423.
