SAPS strike back against Dundee drug dealers

Five men, aged between 29 and 47 years old, were apprehended during the operation.

Drugs are easily available in the town’s central business district, but Dundee SAPS are hitting back.
Dedicated police officers recently arrested five men and confiscated a variety of illegal substances.
The arrests were made when members of the Newcastle Public Order Policing Unit ‘hit’ various targets in Sibongile, Extension 20, Mzomusha and Craigside.

Five men, aged between 29 and 47 years old, were apprehended during the operation.
Police took possession of five small bags of crystal meth, five small bags of CAT, 19 small plastic bags of ‘rock’, 102 capsules of whoonga and 28 mandrax tablets.
“All the arrested suspects will soon appear in the Dundee Magistrate’s Court,” said police spokesperson Constable Siyabonga Nkwanyana.
