A 36-year-old man was hacked to death in the Elandslaagte area recently.

It is alleged that he was suspected of practicing witchcraft and that this was the motive for the brutal murder.

The suspects fled the scene after the bloody attack.

Elandslaagte police launched an intensive manhunt for the killers and two men were arrested.

They will appear in the Ladysmith Magistrate’s Court soon.

The deceased has been identified as Zakhele Walter Mntambo.
