Zemichke Snyman neem deel aan TSA Masters by Westridge
Zemichke het weereens bewys dat sy ‘n top tennis speler is! Zemichke was a top performer this weekend, coming second overall in the U/19 TSA Masters tournament, even though she is only 16 years old.
Unfortunately, she could not play her last match due to the weather conditions. She is still preparing for her trip to Australia later this year, where she will represent SA in various tournaments. Well done, Zemichke!
Kwanele Mtshali to go to final round of Eskom Expo for Young Scientists
Kwanele Mtshali, a Grade 9 learner at DHS, has made it through to the final round of the Eskom Expo with his renewable energy project. This is a huge accomplishment for this young scientist.
He feels strongly about making energy accessible to people from all socio-economic backgrounds and started by doing research on the possibility of generating energy from bacteria. After his research was conducted, material was ordered from overseas and there were many late nights of putting it all together. DHS wishes him all the best in the final round of this prestigious competition.
