Alfred Duma Local Municipality’s Christian Council invites you to a service to celebrate the contribution of renowned urologist Doctor NT Nkosi.

Dr Nkosi recently performed an operation on a young man suffering from a mysterious scrotal swelling. 30-year-old Ntando Mhlongo’s life had become a never-ending struggle and Dr Nkosi came to the rescue. The ‘good doctor’ discovered that fluid was building up around the patient’s testicles (a condition known as a hydrocele) and performed an operation that saw an astonishing 20 litres of pus being drained.

The operation was a resounding success and has immeasurably improved the patient’s quality of life.

This op has raised our town’s flag high, as well as the reputation of Lenmed La Verna Private Hospital, where the delicate procedure was performed.

The service to honour this incredible doctor will be held at the Ladysmith Town Hall on Tuesday (November 26) and everyone is welcome to attend.
