Ladysmith KZN: A driver lost control going around the bend in Poort Road on Thursday evening (July 3), plunging down a steep embankment into a deep donga.

No one was seriously injured.

Police were informed of the accident, but recovery attempts were only made on Friday morning, as damage to the car could only be assessed in daylight.

Delays were caused to morning traffic while the vehicle was being removed from the donga.
