Mthombeni Foundation celebrates Women’s Day in style

The foundation provided food, clothing and encouragement to Thembalihle residents.

The Mthombeni Foundation celebrated Women’s Day in style, honouring the strength and resilience of women everywhere. Coinciding with this special day was the birthday of the Mthombeni brothers, Mzi and Que Duma, and what better way to mark the occasion than by giving back to the Thembalihle community.

The foundation organised a community outreach programme during which they distributed food and clothing to those in need.

Speakers were also part of the programme, sharing words of encouragement with the women in attendance.

Through this thoughtful initiative, the foundation demonstrated its commitment to community development and social responsibility. The celebration served as a reminder of the power of compassion, empathy and collective action.

The event ended with a sense of fulfilment and joy, leaving a lasting impact on the Thembalihle community. The foundation’s dedication to giving back and empowering others is truly commendable, and their efforts will undoubtedly continue to make a difference. “We are very grateful for the support we received from Ladysmith Spur in the form of a grocery donation for our feeding scheme,” said Mzi.
