Amajuba District celebrates outstanding 2025 matric results

The Amajuba District’s Class of 2025 has recorded strong matric results, highlighting the dedication of learners, educators and school communities across the region.
Nationally, the matric pass rate reached a historic high of 88%, the highest in South Africa’s history. Amajuba District exceeded this figure, achieving an impressive overall pass rate of 91.3%.
Several schools in the district attained exceptional results, with eight schools recording a 100% pass rate.
Schools that achieved a 100% pass rate are:
Zibambeleni Secondary School, St Oswalds Secondary School, Sinqobile Combined School, Siphuthando Combined School, Ngcaka Combined School, Muzokhanyayo Secondary School, Groenvlei Combined School and Ekuseni Secondary School.
