Sakhile Primary School shines at Spelling Bee competition

The learners will now progress to district level, where they will compete against Ladysmith and Bergville.

Learners from Sakhile Primary School, falling under the Ntabamhlophe Circuit, excelled at the recent Estcourt CMC-level Spelling Bee competition in both English and isiZulu.

The event took place last month at Muntuza Primary School.

Mpilonhle Mchunu secured first position in English, while Emihle Dube achieved third place in English.

In isiZulu, Minenhle Ndumo proudly claimed third position.

The school expressed great pride in the learners’ performance, noting that they have consistently excelled since the competition began at school level. They progressed to circuit level and have now triumphed at CMC level. The talented learners will go on to represent Estcourt CMC on September 17, competing against Bergville and Ladysmith CMC at district level.

Deputy principal and co-ordinator Mr Mabaso extended heartfelt gratitude to everyone who continues to support the learners’ success. He acknowledged fellow co-ordinators Mr Mdunge (SM), Ms Nkala (MI) and principal JN Khanyile for their dedication and guidance.
