Forderville Primary School’s Career Day inspires young minds

The project emphasised the importance of early career exploration in helping learners make informed decisions.

The Grade 7 learners at Forderville Primary School showcased their talent, creativity and ambition during a highly successful Career Day programme held recently as part of their Life Orientation curriculum.

The event proved to be both informative and inspiring as the learners stepped into the shoes of their future selves. Not only did they dress up in the attire of their chosen profession, but also delivered well prepared and detailed presentations to their fellow learners.

From doctors to engineers, teachers, accountants, pilots, lawyers and architects, etc, the variety of careers highlighted the broad spectrum of aspiration among the learners.

School principal Mr SS Bandu commended the educators and learners for their hard work and enthusiasm, noting that the project encourages valuable skills such as research, public speaking, confidence building and critical thinking. It also emphasised the importance of early career exploration in helping learners make informed decisions about their future.
