Excitement as little ones go to school for the first time

It was mostly smiles and laughter, with a few tears here and there as the children settled into their new routine.

Excitement and jubilation filled the air today (January 14) as many children began their school journey. Schools officially re-opened, marking the start of the first term.

At Jack ‘n Jill Pre-Primary School, first-time learners were welcomed with fun activities, including a jumping castle and entertaining games to help ease them into their new environment. The learners were also gently introduced to classroom activities such as writing, drawing, painting, and colouring in using crayons.

Smiles and laughter were the order of the day as the little ones embraced their first day at school; although a few were understandably emotional and tearful as they adjusted to this new chapter in their young lives.
