Generous help from Muslim community

The Muslim community has never failed to attend to the needs of the poor

Editor
It is with great honour that I applaud the generosity of our Muslim community.
As a Christian, I am so encouraged by the compassion of the Muslim community has for this town and the abiding citizens.
The Muslim community has never failed to attend to the needs of the poor.
We were confronted with a very disturbing situation when we learnt that the FET management abandoned the students residing at Val-U Lodge, hence leaving them to fend for themselves.
Due to the circumstances being very challenging, the students suffered great deprivation.
This allowed an open opportunity for curb crawlers to take advantage of the situation.
These students came with the hope of achieving their goals and to reach for success to change the situations they were brought up in.
This atrocity has allowed some of the girls to lose their dignity, because of hunger, thus resulting in prostitution.
We are therefore pleased to attribute the generosity of those who had provided meals for these students, allowing this situation to be diffused.
Once again, I say thanks to the great humanitarians that do not allow acts of violation of human rights.
For those who sponsored anything, thank you for your remarkable compassion.
