Is it time for us to take a timeout from technology and focus on actually living life?

We devote our day to likes, dislikes, comments and updates.

When the latest tablet, phone or laptop hits the market, we’re distraught.

We spent our grocery budget on last week’s hottest contraption and resent the fact that what we wasted our hard-earned money on something seemingly obsolete.

We’re outdated.

The words rebound like memories we’d rather forget.

But who really cares what ‘i, Samsung something’ you’re sporting?

No one.

Unplug; detox from your devices.

Take a step back and be something other than an ‘instragrammer’.

As you reflect on life when you’re old and grey, you’ll have missed out on just about everything.

Your eyes were glued to a silly sapphire screen.

Don’t lose out on life.

This is my Christmas challenge to you: Get offline and realign your life, because your battery is about to die.
