There is a lot of pressure on people this time of the year to make positive changes.
So, here’s something to think about. If life is measured in time, and a good life by the happy times we have, start keeping better record of the good times. Use this year to get into the habit of taking more photos (and printing some), or starting a scrapbook of letters and happy mementos that remind you of fun events and moments.
Small things like a note your child gave you, or a matchbook from a bar you loved, or the invitation to a friend’s wedding are what will make you realise how good life is. By keeping all the markers to these memories together, we make it easier to see now and down the line how life is made up of small and big things that make it a good life.
