The Trolley’ made some incisive points in last week’s paper

Some people are just plain lazy. Why burn extra calories when you can just push a trolley away from you?

Madam – ‘The Trolley’ made some incisive points in last week’s paper.

One only has to go to any mall in this town to know how the carelessness and arrogance of some shoppers affect other community members. Would you just leave things lying around your house? No? Then what makes it right to leave trolleys in parking bays instead of taking it to a designated spot or back to the store?

Some people are just plain lazy. Why burn extra calories when you can just push a trolley away from you? Typical mindset of the society we live in now. Comfort and convenience above common sense and compassion.

There have been many times when I’ve had to get out of my car to move a trolley from a parking bay. To say the least, those trolleys pushed into the driving lanes pose a chance it might damage a car. When did we become so complacent about something so insignificant, so that now it has become a significant problem?

Maybe it’s just utter ignorance. But those people who are guilty of this will keep doing it because it takes effort not to be an a** I suppose.
