#Fresh Take – A little means a lot

when you indulge these negative emotions is giving something outside yourself power over your happiness

Each day, we can wake up, choose to see life as a precious gem and to be fully present in that day.We cannot always control the outcome of that day, but we can control our reactions towards it.Each day, we can bring all we have to that day, choosing to live it fully, seeing it as a great gift.

Each day, we can train our mind not to obsess on regret, and not to worry for tomorrow but to be in the present moment. Each day, we can be grateful for what has happened that day.Smile and laugh through that rough day, after all it’s the little things in life that make a big difference.

And we can choose not to judge our lives from moment to moment, but simply to live our lives.Real confidence comes not from talking all you can, but from giving the best you can. It’s the little things that come across as nothing or just a waste of time, on the contrary those little things blossom joy, they bring peace of mind that keep you going.

Here is something to think about, if everyone acknowledges the great big things in life, will there be anyone left to appreciate the little things? I don’t know if it’s just me that believes that it’s the way to receive and deal with the little things in life that reveal the true chapter of the heart.Every day we have plenty of opportunities to get angry, stressed or offended.

But what you’re doing when you indulge these negative emotions is giving something outside yourself power over your happiness. You can choose to not let little things upset you. When life is sweet, say thank you and celebrate, when life is bitter, say thank you and grow.
