“Encouraging words are good medicine for the soul.” Unknown.
All great people experienced dark times and moments of doubt but they find inner strength to overcome these difficulties. Persistent determination and enthusiasm fuel the hope within their spirit to press forward for the ultimate aim of achieving the goals they have set for themselves.
Many people have given up in life without encouragement. Encouragement is life. Your words should be gracious to those who hear it. During those times of frustration, you must build good relations to support you in those moments. You must also learn to encourage yourself and decide to stay determined.
I cannot imagine anyone having to make life changing decisions without a strong support system and encouragement. Someone once said “your purpose is not to be unhappy to make others happy.” You are not responsible for others happiness, but you are responsible for your own happiness. A courageous person looks at situations as opportunities, sees consequences, and trusts his/her own ability to handle the situations.
A courageous person realises that making mistakes is not personal. The courageous person has the courage to be imperfect. Courageous people believe in themselves and focus on situations with the purpose of serving the whole. Encouraging for one person may not be encouraging for another.
The receiver decides if the words or action are encouraging. The sender simply looks at the reaction to determine if the encouragement was accepted in a positive way. One of the many things I would love to be remembered by is that my encouragement was the cornerstone to the great successes of my peers.
An encouraging attitude provides productivity. Learn the language of encouragement or at least by all means avoid discouragement.
