Editor – Through your newspaper, I would like to thank Motor Tech for the assistance given this week to our business, HD Transport from Port Elizabeth.
One of our trucks was en-route from Newcastle to Port Elizabeth, with two of our drivers in attendance, when it started pulling badly.
We contacted Motor Tech and spoke to Mohammed Omar, who agreed to assist us once the vehicle arrived in Ladysmith.
He went out of his way to assist us.
The part that was needed was transported via courier from Port Elizabeth to Ladysmith.
Unfortunately, it took a bit longer than expected, so it was necessary for the drivers to wait in Ladysmith. Mohammed went to the trouble of finding overnight accommodation for our drivers.
When the part arrived, he promptly did what he had to do and the truck was on its way again. It is refreshing to know there are still people out there who are willing to go the extra mile for their fellow men. Thanks, Mohammed!
