World of Warships gets Open Beta release
The most highly anticipated gaming release in eSport history makes its Open Beta debut and it is FREE

If you know gaming, you will know World of Tanks (WoT) which basically changed the way Free to Play (F2P) games were perceived throughout the world.
The developers offered a top-quality game free of charge, with customers choosing to buy add-ons. Since then, the game has gone from strength to strength.
World of Tanks is a massively multi-player online game developed by Belarusian-Cypriot company Wargaming.net, featuring early to mid-20th century era fighting vehicles. It is built upon a freemium business model where the game is free-to-play, but participants also have the option of paying a fee for use of “premium” features. The focus is on player vs player gameplay, with each player controlling an armoured vehicle which may be a light, medium or heavy tank; tank destroyer; or self-propelled gun. World of Tanks debuted as an eSports game at the World Cyber Games 2012.
The game officially launched in 2011, and in 2012 was selected for eSport status.
This is a big deal, as people can actually make money playing the game…
But this is not a story about World of Tanks, but its spiritual and eSport destined successor World of Warships, which a day ago went Open Beta, making it an obvious choice for any gamer to download. Download HERE
Why download it? Well, it is FREE
First things first, do not download the US version of the game – only the European Union version. The reason for this is simply that on American servers, the lag will make the game unplayable.
But why all the hype?
Firstly, it is totally free and secondly, it will definitely become a leading contender for eSport status along with its illustrious sibling WoT and Steam’s DOTA 2, and lastly, did we mention it is…
