Dear Mayor, I am a loyal employer for the Municipality.
However, I am not happy the way the municipal dwellings look like.
I pay my monthly instalments, and would appreciate it if we could also receive the maintenance that we request.
I have been trying to get Housing and Land to just fix the bathroom walls including ceiling due to mildew, and the areas where lampshades against the walls are not even painted.
It looks horrible, and feel ashamed when my parents visit.
We are not allowed to do any painting ourselves, but we must live in that condition.
The putty of the windows are cracked and it is a matter of time that it would fall out automatically or if the wind blows to hard it will fall out.
Your assistance in this regard would be highly appreciated.
I take pride on where I live, but if Housing and Land don’t want to do any effort in just to deal with any complaints or maintenance to be done as per tenants request, then we will paint the interior and do maintenance from our own pockets.
Arbor Heights, Fairleigh Flats and Suryaville Flats are the ones that need serious intervention, and would appreciate it if you could assist.

I think we have already. The problem of vandalism is a scourge we must fight as a community.
