Editor – It was great to see the fun and excitement at AK’s OK Hyper on Saturday morning and afternoon.
Seeing the Ladysmith Gazette staff interacting with the community, together with ABI and Sharaj Ambulance Services, shaking tins for a good cause.
It was great to see the response from the community, with piles of toys and foodstuffs being donated. It sometimes feels that the so-called community across the river are ignored when it comes to fund-raising.
We care as much as anyone else about the poor and downtrodden in our community.
