Can someone from the municipality please tell me what are the Extended Public Works Programme (EPWP) workers doing at the park across from Alice Bridge?
For the past couple of weeks whenever I drive past during normal working hours these ‘workers’ are just sitting or standing around.
They never work.
As I understand from one of the council members, these projects that EPWP is doing is funded by central government via the municipality, so it is taxpayer’s money, which is wasted, once again.
