Madam – Give that man a Bell’s.

I’ve decided to use the printed media and not social media for this letter.

My hair raise when I read what people are talking about on Facebook. It is so easy to attack people on Facebook because you think you have a right to do just that.

I’ve followed the positive and negative comments about Mayor Afzul Rehman on Facebook the past few days and must be honest if I were the mayor, I would have kicked all those negative people out of my town.

People, open your eyes – can’t you see in what beautiful town we are living ? We have clean water, roads without potholes, clean and maintained parks, no load shedding – what more do you want ?

I am also sick and tired to read about the Ncandu River. How can the mayor be responsible for a GREEN RIVER? Read your local press and see for yourself why the river is green.

The municipal building was in the pipeline prior to 1994 but nobody had the “balls” to do it. We salute our mayor and his council who made that decision.

It seems elections are on us and now we see new potential councillors trying to impress.

I can mention a few names here, but I will rather not do that- you can just follow Facebook to see who all the negative people are – they are the same people again and again.

Let’s rather work together to make our town the model city !

Give our mayor a Bell’s!
