Wow, do I really know what my camera can do?

Warning: Prepare to be creatively depressed and remember, with all videos, it will chow your data

There was a time when owning a DSLR (digital single-lens reflex) camera meant you could take really good photographs. But how times have changed.

This video was shot on a Canon 550D camera, the same camera I own. It got me thinking, where is my award-winning video? Ironically, the slow-motion effects were made possible by a $500 programme called Twixtor. My Samsung S6 cell-phone comes with built-in slow-motion capabilities easily able to rival what is seen in the video.

So what excuse do any of us have for not producing stunning videos and photos?

Unfortunately, no matter how much money you have, you cannot buy creativity!

You can buy a secondhand 550d for about R4000 or less.
