Desperate need for a cinema which would change the town for the better

‘You have to spend money in order to make money’ is the motto of any successful business'

Editor – I am a resident of our small town, Ladysmith.

It’s a town that provides people with their basic needs, eg there are garages, shopping centres, a library, banks, schools and colleges, etc, but that’s it. Growth of our town is lethargic.

If this town had a cinema, a lot would change.

There would be more job opportunities and more capital would be made available to benefit uThukela District Municipality.

A cinema would also be a “relaxation station” accessible to everyone.

Even people from out of town could travel here and take in a movie or two, generating revenue for the town and improving the economy.

It could also be good for local business people, with new business ideas arising from this initiative.
Thus, a lot of people would benefit.

‘You have to spend money in order to make money’ is the motto of any successful business. This also applies within the  uThukela Municipality.
