Empty promises fed to the people

Currently, they are busy promising housing projects, which they should have done long time ago but held back these projects on purpose for this current election campaign.

This is while poor people have been suffering for years, living in shameless quarters, while politicians are busy enriching themselves with public funds e.g. this already sunk municipality and Uthukela District that has been placed under administration for fraud, irregular spending of funds, corruption and maladministration.

Should they come to your home, ask them about the damning Auditor General’s report, which stipulates that millions and millions of rands has been missing from the municipality, under their leadership, causing a delay in service delivery.

Ask them where the funds for bursaries to fund tertiary students for registration have gone to? What happened about indigent subsidies?

If there are tariff changes, why they don’t they come and inform you?  What have they been doing about potholes that have been reported for years?
