Take twenty-four women, one eligible bachelor, many exotic locations and a few roses and you have the premise for The Bachelor.
Add a sprinkling of sex, a dash of drama and just a little bit of jealousy, and you have the recipe for good reality TV.
Many are already hooked on the South African version of The Bachelor and who can blame them.
The show has had its fair share of intrigue and intimate moments.
But as it gets closer to the final rose and Lee Thompson has to pick ‘the one’, many are asking just who the next Bachelor will be. In the original American series, The Bachelor is always followed by The Bachelorette, a female who featured on the show and is hoping to find true love a second time around. But in South Africa we should really mix it up and have another male looking for love. After all, we have the perfect candidate for the next Bachelor; former State President, Jacob Zuma.
Yes, you read that right! Bra Jacob should be the next one to find true love. Now you must be thinking but Jacob isn’t a Bachelor and he’s already got more than one wife. But that’s exactly the reason he should be considered. Bra Jacob knows how to handle a lot of women. Drawing on his life experience, he’ll be able to handle talking to twenty-four different women at once.
He won’t confuse them or their stories and he’s guaranteed to remember their names. JZ also has a private plane (courtesy of the Guptas) on call to whisk the girls away on romantic trips.
The Gupta plane is the only aircraft that doesn’t need permission to land at military bases (like Wonderboom), so the contestants can go anywhere they please.
There will also be no need to find a fancy mansion where the girls can live in a lap of luxury, they can just use Nkandla. Nkandla has a firepool where the girls can laze around the pool in their costumes while talking about one another.
Nkandla also has acres of land where JZ can take the girls on romantic dates. There is also an abundance of showers on the site to either plan some steamy fun or to help protect against any diseases which may be contracted when one man gets alone with 24 women.
And the ‘biggest’ reason why Bra Jacob should be the next Bachelor is ‘The Spear.’
Any man who is rich, powerful, handsome (according to some) and knows how to handle his weapon, is definitely a catch for women around the country.
