Cable theft is costing ratepayers

Some people did not have water for more than 24 hours

I am so frustrated about the water cuts that we experienced last week. I was informed that the cables from the pump station in Forderville were stolen again.

Time and again, cable theft has been causing inconveniences for the residents.

Some people did not have water for more than 24 hours with no indication about when it will return. I think that the municipality needs to take urgent measures to make sure the pump station in Canna Avenue is well-secured and guarded.

We can’t have thieves looting this place every month; this is costing ratepayers in more ways than one.
